For anyone considering a move and change of lifestyle, there may be a myriad of questions and qualms. VANDYK group of companies recently took the initiative to help answer those questions by hosting an Information Seminar at the Sales Centre for its latest project, The Craftsman Condominium Residences, located on lively Lakeshore Road West in Mississauga’s Clarkson Village.

The Information Seminar covered a wide range of subjects important to anyone who has made a decision to purchase at the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired condominium, or those considering a purchase.

Jessica Frutti, Sales Project Manager at VANDYK, provided an overview of The Craftsman, with its larger than average suites and balconies, full range of amenities and extensive landscaping fitting perfectly into the mature surrounding neighbourhood of Clarkson Village, and also provided valuable insights into the current state of Toronto’s housing market.

Regarding financing, Drew Pallett, Vice President, Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager at RBC, spoke about how to generate tax-efficient income from real estate investments, an important part of any investment review.

Since many of the purchasers at The Craftsman will be downsizing from larger homes and are facing the task of “getting rid of stuff” to accommodate their new carefree condominium lifestyles, Linda Vanderkolk, Principal at Clutter B Gone, provided guests with useful tips and tricks on how to best declutter their space.

The Information Seminar’s final presenter was Krystallee Lalsin, Coordinator at VANDYK’S Design Studio, who showcased multi-functional furniture pieces and explained the VANDYK Design Studio process for suite customization and décor selection. Purchasers were eager to learn that the process starts with an initial one-on-one consultation with a VANDYK Design Studio Coordinator, where they can request any minor structural modifications, followed by more meetings where the future Craftsman residents can channel their inner-designer and choose materials and colour palettes that suit their individual styles.

A lively Question and Answer session followed the presentations and the evening concluded over light refreshments as guests could mix and mingle with VANDYK representatives and tour the Sales Centre and Model Suite, professionally decorated by award-winning interior design firm, UNION31.

The Model Suite displays the fine features and finishes of The Craftsman, the immaculate flow and flexibility of the multi-functional floorplans and the abundance of natural light which will flow into each suite, allowing for beautiful views of Birchwood Park, the interior courtyards and the surrounding Clarkson Village area.

With over 65 people in attendance, the Information Seminar was just another example of how VANDYK group of companies can add value, information and expertise to an important and exciting home-buying decision.
