It’s been many months now since VANDYK group of companies began construction at Wrigglesworth Plaza promising a Tim Hortons in addition to a beautiful new plaza. Following such a gruelling winter of anticipation, VANDYK is more than accommodating when asked for an update on their progress.

“Unfortunately, the weather we have experienced this winter did have an impact on our construction timeline, however with Spring upon us we are able to move full ahead,” Domenic Zita, Executive Vice President of VANDYK group of companies commented with regards to the Wrigglesworth Plaza.

“Each week as the weather gets warmer, you will be able to see a major progression on the building site as we work towards a tentative mid to end of June 2014 opening of Shelburne’s first Tim Hortons,” Zita announced.

Zita continued, “We are also pleased to announce that the Beer Store has renewed their lease for another 15 years and we are currently in active discussions with many leasing prospects and should be able to report new tenants in the near future.”

Also music to Shelburne as the unemployment rate will be directly impacted in a positive way.

As Shelburne East is definitely changing, Shelburne West is not to be forgotten as VANDYK’S the Neighborhoods of Summerhill is well under way attracting many to the quiet but full life Shelburne has to offer.
