We are seeking a dedicated Talent Recruitment / Office Management professional who will oversee internal corporate operations, including employee administration and staffing for the company. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily administration and operation of internal staff to ensure optimal organization and efficiency. You will also be responsible for the operation of recruiting through effective sourcing of marketable candidates and thoroughly qualifying and matching those to current positions. This candidate will work closely with and report directly to the President & CEO of the company

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient operation of Canada Head Office as well as Regional Florida Office with approximately 80 combined employees
  • Administer and manage employee contracts and coordinate provision of employee benefit and orientation packages
  • Ensure employee records are properly filed and kept up to date
  • Coordinate corporate itineraries and scheduling for both internal and external individuals and groups
  • Work with the VANDYK Marketing Department for distribution of internal communication, memos and announcements, as required
  • Regularly review and amend office policies and procedures, as required
  • Source candidates by direct sourcing as well as referrals
  • Manage resumes and evaluate candidate qualifications for employment through intensive profile and position analysis, working with specific department heads
  • Recruitment, screening, interviewing, selection, training and termination of employees, as required
  • Act as a liaison for any staff related matters and resolve any issues in a timely and ethical manner
  • Assist in high-level decision making regarding staffing and/or overall company operations, making necessary recommendations to senior staff
  • Must be able to maintain sensitive information with strict confidentiality and professionalism
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience, in the Construction/Real Estate Industry an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business or related field
  • CHRP designation an asset
  • Must be technology savvy with advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Gmail and Google Drive applications
  • Must be proficient on both Apple and PC computers
  • Excellent candidate search skills with the ability to source active and passive candidates
  • Ability to change recruitment direction and priorities to meet critical needs
  • Strong reporting, analytical and process improvement skills (i.e. organizational charts)
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
